Chaos | Cylindo
Senior UI & UX Designer
Chaos is a global company known for its industry-leading 3D visualization tools like V-Ray, Enscape, and Corona — widely used in architecture, film, and product design. As part of its mission to build an end-to-end visualization ecosystem, Chaos brought several specialized teams under its umbrella, including Cylindo.
I was part of Cylindo, a business unit within Chaos focused on 3D product visualization for furniture brands and retailers. Cylindo’s platform helps companies showcase their products through photorealistic visuals, 360° views, and AR — making it easier for customers to explore, customize, and feel confident in their purchases.
About the Project
Curator was a central content management tool used across multiple teams in the company, but over time it had become a source of confusion and inefficiency due to its complex and inconsistent user experience. While the tool was powerful, it lacked clarity, cohesion, and discoverability — making it difficult for internal teams to navigate and use confidently.
After joining the team, I took ownership of improving Curator's UX, focusing on refining user flows, aligning cross-team needs, and ensuring it could scale as the company grew. This project became a turning point in how the tool was perceived — and laid the foundation for a better product experience and cross-functional collaboration.
